How to set up your display reviews on your product page

Overview

You can display Roadmap reviews directly on your product detail pages (PDPs) using the Roadmap Reviews 2.0 app block. The block is added in the Shopify theme editor and inherits your theme’s design by default. If Shared Reviews is enabled, the same review content can be shown across multiple related products.

Open the interactive guide

If the Arcade link opens a sign-in page, open it in a browser where you’re already logged in, or ask your team admin for access to the flow.

Add the Reviews block in Shopify

In Shopify, go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize on the theme you want to edit.

In the top dropdown, open the Products template you want to update (for example, your default product template or a custom product template).

Click Add section (or Add block, depending on your theme), then choose Apps → Roadmap Reviews 2.0.

Place it where you want reviews to appear (commonly below the product description or near the bottom of the PDP).

Click Save in the theme editor.

Reviews will display on any product that uses this product template, as long as the Roadmap Reviews 2.0 block/section is set to be visible.

If you have multiple product templates, you’ll need to add Roadmap Reviews 2.0 to each template where you want reviews to appear.

Configure how reviews display

In the Shopify theme editor, click the Roadmap Reviews 2.0 block to open its settings. You can adjust:

Layout — widths, padding, styles, and corner radius
Colours & Fonts — font sizing and the colors for the review block elements

For advanced styling control, you can apply custom CSS (recommended only if you’re comfortable maintaining theme-level styling changes).

Yes. In the Shopify theme editor, you can place the Roadmap Reviews 2.0 block anywhere within your product template.

Yes. Photo uploads are supported and can display alongside written reviews (if enabled in your review settings).

Yes. The block inherits theme styling automatically, and you can further control styling using the block settings under Layout and Colours & Fonts, plus optional custom CSS.
