# Managing companies and their loyalty

A tour of the Companies dashboard and the company detail page — point history, members, orders, adjusting the shared balance, generating discounts, and updating membership dates.

Open **Loyalty Program → Manage Customers**, then switch to B2B. The Companies dashboard lists Shopify companies with their tier, contacts, membership date, total spent, and point balance.

Use **All**, **Members**, and **Non-members** to filter companies. Search by company name.

#### The company page

Open a company to view its complete B2B loyalty record:

* **Point History** lists earned, redeemed, adjusted, and refunded points. Its **Discounts** tab lists generated codes, including unused codes.
* **Company Orders** lists orders from every company member.
* **Company Members** lists members with links to their customer pages.
* **Company** shows the name, contacts, and amount spent this period.
* **Membership** shows the tier, member-since date, start date, and expiry date.
* **Loyalty Points** shows the shared balance.
* **Activity Timeline** logs earnings, redemptions, adjustments, tier changes, and membership changes.

#### Take action on a company

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Adjust the shared balance**

Click **Adjust point balance** to add or deduct points. Use it for goodwill credit or an offline-order correction.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Generate a company discount**

Click **Redeem points** to redeem from the shared balance. Any current company member can use the generated code.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Update membership details**

Click **Update** on the **Membership** card to change the tier, start date, or expiry date.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

#### Understand the numbers

* **Amount spent this period** includes eligible order value processed through loyalty. It does not include raw Shopify totals or orders before B2B loyalty was enabled.
* The shared balance can briefly appear stale during simultaneous member orders. It self-corrects within moments.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.roadmap.so/loyalty-and-rewards/b2b-loyalty/managing-companies-and-their-loyalty.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
