# The Roadmap Change Log

Keep up with everything Roadmap ships: the Change Log button in the header of every Roadmap screen takes you to the changelog, and every entry links to its documentation.

Roadmap ships new functionality constantly, across loyalty, subscriptions, reviews, trade, bundles, and the cart. The **Change Log** is where you catch up: every product update in one feed, newest first, each with a plain-language summary and a link to its documentation.

### Where to find it

The **Change Log** button sits in the header of every Roadmap screen, next to **Help Center**. It takes you to the changelog on the web, [docs.roadmap.so/changelog](https://docs.roadmap.so/changelog), the Changelog tab of this help center. Bookmark it and you can check what's new without opening the app at all.

### What each entry gives you

* What shipped and what it does for your store.
* **Product feature** bullets with the details worth knowing.
* A **Read the documentation** button through to the full guide.

New features land in the Change Log, so it is the fastest way to find functionality you didn't know you had.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.roadmap.so/getting-started/the-roadmap-change-log.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
